The Island Council of Mallorca as well as Madrid City Hall are fed up with complaints about unregulated holiday letting and are thus introducing new legislation that will see rogue lettings to tourists curbed drastically. Spanish Property Insight reported that the entire Madrid region will regulate all holiday lettings with regulations that will include implementing suitability certificates.
